In the records of the Patriarchal Treasury for the year 1628, the church is mentioned as "the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in the settlement." In 1652, a new wooden church with the same name was built in the parish. The consecrated antimins, transferred to this church, was preserved until the early 19th century. The duration of the wooden Resurrection Church's existence is unknown, but in the topographical description of the city of Yuriev and the district from 1760, it is already listed as stone. At that time, there was a warm wooden church in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord nearby.

Currently, the parish has two stone churches: a cold one in honor of the Resurrection of Christ and a warm one in the name of Saint Barbara the Great Martyr. The time of construction of the stone Resurrection Church is unknown; it has two floors. The upper floor has an altar in honor of the Resurrection of Christ, while the lower floor has one in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord. Until 1826, winter services were held in the lower floor since it was warm. However, from 1826, due to constant dampness, services there are only conducted on the feast day of the church. For winter services in 1826, a separate stone church with one altar in honor of Saint Barbara the Great Martyr was built with funds from the parishioners.

The church has estate land measuring 941.5 square fathoms, with the plan and boundary book stored in the sacristy. According to the clergy's staff, there is a priest, a deacon, and a psalmist. The annual income of the clergy amounts to 271 rubles 62 kopecks from the interest of church capital and 1124 rubles for sacramental services, totaling about 1400 rubles. Houses for the clergy were built with funds from the parishioners. The parish has 41 households, 211 men, and 200 women.
