The Voskresensk Church on Obnora is located on the site of the former Voskresensk Male Monastery, on the right bank of the Obnora River, 20 versts from the city of Lyubim. After the monastery was abolished in 1764, the church became the parish church of the village of Voskresensk. The stone church was built in 1825 on the site of the previous wooden Pokrovskaya church. It consists of two parts: in the eastern part, there are two altars, in honor of the Resurrection of Christ and St. Silvester, this is the cold church; in the western part, there are also two altars, to the right is the Meeting of the Lord, to the left is the Protection of the Holy Virgin, this is the warm part. The cold and warm churches are connected by an arch with doors. The church was built with the funds of parishioners and benefactors, the building is stone with a similar bell tower, sturdy.

The main shrine of the Voskresensk church is the relics of St. Silvester. The saint rests under the church, on the southern side of the cold church. The coffin with the relics is located in a wooden crypt, above which in the church rises a reliquary with his image. Special attention is drawn to the icon of the Not-Made-By-Hands Savior with the inscription: "to this image of our Lord Jesus Christ prayed our Holy Father Silvester," which, according to tradition, St. Sergius blessed Silvester before sending him to the Obnora lands, and the icon of St. Silvester of Obnora, adorned with gold and silks.

The church owns 37 dessiatins of land, in addition, in 1889, a merchant woman, Evdokia Smirnova, donated 12 dessiatins of land in the wasteland of Steparino, 4 versts from the church, for eternal commemoration.
