Among the old churches that are being restored, new ones are also being built at the initiative of local residents and with the blessing of the archbishop. One such church was built in the village of Iskra, where in 2015, Bishop of Alexandrov and Yuriev-Polsky consecrated the cross at the future site of the temple. The church, dedicated to St. Vladimir the Equal-to-the-Apostles, is made of logs, a traditional material of Slavic craftsmen. Its completed and simple architectural forms create an illusion of massiveness, although the building is relatively small in size. The church stands out with its 'octagon on a square' structure, elongated silhouette, and tent-like shape of the main volume and bell tower, giving it a memorable appearance.

Now that the construction of the church in honor of St. Vladimir the Equal-to-the-Apostles is complete, the residents of Iskra have gained their sanctuary, a place to come for prayer, repentance, and comfort. The construction and restoration company 'ISKON' played an important role in bringing the day of the church's opening for believers closer. The company manufactured and installed two domes: a large one with a diameter of 2.3 meters for the main volume of the church and a smaller one with a diameter of 1.3 meters for the bell tower, both covered with gold.
