The Trinity Church in the village of Zamerie was built of stone along with a similar bell tower in 1870, funded by parishioners and benefactors. The fence around the church is wooden. The cemetery is located a quarter of a verst from the church, surrounded by a moat and a wooden fence. The church has three altars: in honor of the Holy Trinity, the icon of the Mother of God "Sign," and St. Sergius of Radonezh. It is 70 versts to Kostroma and 50 versts to Galich. The nearest churches are in the village of Mikhalevo, one verst away, in the village of Voronye in the Kostroma district, four versts away, in the village of Aleksandrova, eight versts away, and in the Epiphany parish on Mere, ten versts away.

Previously, there stood a wooden Trinity Church at the site of Belyaev, built in 1788. It had altars in honor of the Holy Trinity and the icon of the Mother of God "Sign."

In the 17th century, the village was part of the Kostroma district. From a church division perspective, the parish belonged to the Pleskaya tithe. In 1646, the village of Zamorie was the estate of the courtiers princes Grigory and Andrey Afonasyev, and it housed the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity, as well as two noble estates. In June 1675, a petition was submitted by priest Vasily Feodotov regarding the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity in the village of Zamerie. In 1695, the church is mentioned as being located in the village of Zamer, in the Shachebolsky stan.
