The wooden church-school was built in Trubayka, one of the remote villages of the Vladichninsky parish, in 1900.
It is likely that the existing wooden church with one dome and a tent-shaped bell tower was constructed after 1908 as a parish church.
It was closed no later than the 1930s, after which the building was used as a barn and then fell into disrepair.
Currently, it is in an emergency state and is gradually collapsing.
The village was deserted around the early 1990s.
