The church in Gladyshево is being revived thanks to the efforts of a group of like-minded individuals. After prayers at the dilapidated Spaso-Preobrazhensky church, priests and parishioners discussed the possibility of building a small chapel at the holy site and even tried to raise funds. However, due to a lack of money or organizers, or perhaps for other reasons, the project did not progress for a long time. One day, a native of the village of Gladyshево, Andrey Zyakin, who lives in Gus-Khrustalny, promised God to start restoring the church after the miraculous healing of his son. He brought timber and reinforced the foundation, but could not manage alone. Then everyone joined in. Lev Varlamov, a resident of Vladimir, and Igumen Silvester Smerdov, the rector of the Holy Trinity Church, installed the second cross at the site of the first Prokhorov desert. Lev received a blessing, and a log cabin for the chapel was made in the Gusyevsky district.

On July 21, 2005, an oak cross was erected at the walls of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky church, at the site of the second Prokhorov desert. However, by that time, the walls of the church had already rotted, and the Vladimir State Center for the Protection of Cultural Heritage excluded it from its list. In the summer of 2006, a log cabin for the chapel was erected at the site of the first desert.

In 2009, Archbishop Evlogy of Vladimir consecrated the crosses for the domes of the new church in the village of Gladyshево. With the help of Oleg Kucherik, heating was installed, and Vladimir icon painters began to paint icons for the iconostasis. The chandelier was ready.

In 2010, Bishop Evlogy blessed the preparation of two altars: one in memory of the Transfiguration of the Lord, and the other in honor of Saints Prokhor and Vassian of Yastreb.

On October 30, 2011, the altar in honor of the Venerable Prokhor and Vassian of Yastreb was consecrated, and on December 8 of the same year, the full consecration of the church took place with the archbishop's rite, including the main Spaso-Preobrazhensky chapel. The rector of the church became its builder, Priest Lev Kharlamov.
