The church was built in the mid-19th century with funds from parishioners. It is a small building with a warm chapel and a rather tall bell tower, executed in the late neo-Russian style. The central part of the temple is a two-story square with a massive bowl-shaped dome, adorned with small round lanterns and decorative pediments. An onion dome made of sheet iron rises on an octagonal lantern drum.

On the western side, there is a refectory, adjacent to a four-tiered bell tower richly decorated with ornamental masonry. Here, one can see pediments with intricate archivolts, ornate frames, and relief friezes on stepped crowning cornices.

The church and the cemetery were devastated and remained in neglect for a long time. Since January 2012, the temple has been active again and is being restored. Currently, the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh is open, and services are held in the central temple. Local residents are gradually restoring the building, but due to a lack of funding, the work is progressing slowly.
