In the village, there has long been a church in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The first mentions of it appear in the records of the Patriarchal Treasury, where in 1628 it is recorded as "the church of the Nativity of the Most Pure Virgin Mary in the village of Ivorovo in the estate of Grigory and Ivan Ogarev." In 1654, a new tax amount is mentioned, one ruble and 26 altyns in cash. In 1714, priest Mikhail Timofeev was transferred to the village of Trekhsvyatskoye in the Arzamas district with the permission of Bishop Ignatius of Suzdal.

The stone church with a bell tower and fence, existing in the village, was built in 1825 thanks to the efforts of landowner Sergey Obukhov and the parishioners. It has three altars: in the cold part, in honor of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, and in the warm chapels, in honor of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Nicholas.

Among the ancient relics in the church were kept a Gospel from 1776 and a silver cross with relics of saints, such as the Apostle Andrew the First-Called, Archdeacon Stephen, and others. The year 1714 is engraved on the cross.

Church documents have been preserved in full: copies of the metric books since 1800 and confession lists since 1826. An inventory of church property was compiled in 1881.

The church owned one desyatina of estate land and 33 desyatinas of haymaking and arable land, of which 8 desyatinas were unsuitable for use.

The church staff included a priest and a psalmist. The income was about 400 rubles a year, including funds from church services, land, grain collection, and interest from church capital. The clergy had their own houses on church land.

The church owned a wooden chapel in the village of Zaborye and the Annunciation church in the cemetery. In the past, there was an Annunciation burial site, which was the estate of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. In 1654, the church of the burial site was noted as "arrived." In 1713, a new wooden church was built at the burial site, but in 1821 the burial site was abolished, and the Annunciation church was assigned to the church of the village of Ivorovo and made a cemetery church. In 1841, it was renovated by landowner Obukhova, placed on a stone foundation, and covered with iron. It had one altar, in honor of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The church had 35 desyatinas of arable and haymaking land, which was used by the Ivorovo clergy.

In 1962, the stone church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary still stood in Ivorovo, but in the 1950s its bell tower was destroyed, and later the church itself. In 2002, a wooden building of the parish school still existed.
