The land books of 1629 and 1630 indicate that the palace village of Golyanishchevo was transferred to the estate of boyar Mikhail Borisovich Shein. At that time, the village had 27 peasant households, 12 landless households, and 6 empty ones. The church in Golyanishchevo is not mentioned in these books. However, in the revenue books of the Ryazan diocese from 1676, a church in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is already listed in Golyanishchevo. It had the house of priest Yefim, the houses of deacons and prosphora bakers, and there was also a house for clerks, 43 peasant households, and 1 landless household in the parish. Currently, there are 37 households in Golyanishchevo.

There is no information on how many times and when exactly the church was rebuilt. Currently, there is a wooden church with a bell tower in Golyanishchevo. It has one altar in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The church is sufficiently equipped with utensils, vestments, holy icons, and liturgical books.
