The village has two stone churches: one cold, founded in 1784 and dedicated to the Placement of the Honorable Belt of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the other warm, dedicated to Archangel Michael. Both churches were built thanks to the efforts of the parishioners. According to tradition, before the construction of the cold church in Semyonovsk, there stood a wooden one, the location of which is marked by a stone pillar.

In the village of Semyonovsk, two processions are held: one during the stay of the Rostov Wonderworking Icon of the Vladimir Blessed Virgin Mary, and the other in memory of the fire of 1866. In the villages of Kedsovo and Pukesovo, a procession has also been established in connection with hail damage.

The churches own 36 desyatins of land, and the parish includes four settlements.
