The church was built in 1790 by the efforts of the parishioners. In 1839, the refectory was expanded, which housed two chapels. In 1907, the church was completely rebuilt, and the altars from the refectory were moved to the cold expanded church.

Heavy events unfolded around the church in the village. By 1931, it ceased to function. The last church elder was Maria Ivanovna Raspravina, who was soon arrested and exiled after the closure. The Korsakov, Vorobyov, and Sochkov families suffered for the church, as they were also exiled from the village, and none of them returned.

All the church gold was taken away in an unknown direction, and the remaining utensils were piled behind the fenced altar. The collective farm was instructed to use the church as a warehouse. People broke into the altar, dismantling icons and lamps. When the order came to hand over the church utensils to the churches in Arzamas and Vyyezdnoye, the remaining items were loaded onto trucks and taken away. The beautiful fence of the church was dismantled and sold to local residents. On the church grounds was a grave and a monument to its founder. The monument was taken to the cemetery, and the location of the grave is now unknown. The chapel was also taken away from the cemetery.
