By the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the rural church was included in the list of historical and cultural heritage sites. The church dates back to the 19th century. However, according to information from the State Heritage Protection Office of Nizhny Novgorod Region, order No. 5-OD was revoked on October 20, 2014, by order No. 159.
