The construction of the first wooden church in Maraiskaya Sloboda was completed in the summer of 1763 thanks to the efforts of the parishioners. On July 26, 1763, an antimins was issued, and on December 20 of the same year, the church in the name of the Epiphany of the Lord was consecrated by Epiphanius Yartsev with the blessing of Metropolitan Paul of Tobolsk and Siberia. In 1788, a warm chapel in the name of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos was added to the church, making it a two-altar church. The temple was a single-story wooden building with a wooden bell tower and a roof made of planks.

In the late 1820s, the construction of a second church began to replace the old, dilapidated one. The new temple was completed in 1830 with funds from the parishioners. It was wooden, single-story, with a wooden bell tower, three domes, iron crosses, and grilles on the windows. In 1830, the altar in the name of the Nativity of the Theotokos in the warm chapel was consecrated, and soon the main altar in the name of the Epiphany of the Lord was also consecrated. However, on December 30, 1861, the building burned down due to a heating malfunction, destroying most of the bells and some icons, although the iconostases and church utensils were saved.

By the decree of the Tobolsk Spiritual Consistory on February 9, 1862, the parishioners built a temporary wooden prayer house consisting of three rooms. One room was used for services, another stored the property left after the fire, and the third was used for teaching children and housing the watchmen. The bells were temporarily hung on poles. Later, the building was used for the rural parish school until 1894.

The stone three-altar church in the village of Maraiskoye was laid on June 29, 1863, by Priest Nikita Rozanov with the assistance of local priests. On September 7, 1870, Priest Konstantin Rychkov consecrated the altar in the name of the Epiphany of the Lord on the right side of the warm chapel, where the old iconostasis from the burned church was temporarily installed. The church with the bell tower was finally built in 1872 with funds from the parishioners. In 1877, an iconostasis was arranged in the cold Peter and Paul church from donations, and by 1881, two new iconostases were made for the warm church. The main altar in the name of the apostles Peter and Paul was consecrated on June 28, 1882, and by 1885, the altar in the name of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos was also consecrated.

In 1886, a stone fence with gates and iron grilles was built at the expense of the parishioners, as well as a watchman's hut and a stone storeroom. By 1889, the fence and buildings were covered with iron and plastered. By 1892, the church was painted, and the following year a bell weighing 97 poods was acquired, made in Gatchina. The church housed a carved icon of Saint Nicholas, revered by the parishioners.

The church in the village of Maraiskoye was closed in 1938 by the decision of the Chelyabinsk Regional Executive Committee, and workshops of the auto column were placed in the building.

In the early 1990s, a temporary church of the Epiphany of the Lord was arranged in an old wooden two-story house.
