Near the Resurrection Church in the Varnitsky settlement, at the burial site of many generations of his ancestors, Alexey Leontievich Kekin, the grandnephew of Nikolai Alexeyevich, erected a stone church with chapels in honor of St. Paisius the Great and the martyr Uar. The foundation of the church took place on May 20, 1890, and the consecration occurred on February 7, 1893. The church has two equal altars: one dedicated to St. Paisius the Great, the other to the holy martyr Uar, hence the church is topped with two domes. Above the altar altars, there are also two smaller domes. The church is designed in the neo-Russian style, emphasizing the architectural features of 17th-century churches. In 1903, the church was painted. A charitable institution was established next to the church, which was later transformed into a school. According to his will, on September 23, 1897, Alexey Leontievich Kekin, its builder, was buried under the vaults of this church. A tombstone has been preserved in the church with the inscription: 'State Councillor Alexey Leontievich Kekin was born on August 6, 1838, and died on September 15, 1897. His life lasted 59 years, 1 month, and 10 days.'
