The Nikolskaya church, located on a picturesque meadow at the confluence of two rivers, adorned the surroundings with its beauty and elegance for over a hundred years. Built from resonant pine, light and wooden, it was consecrated in honor of the Patron of travelers and seafarers. However, during the Soviet and post-Soviet times, the church was abandoned and unprotected. Vandals set fire to it, and the fire nearly destroyed the temple. The fire started outside the altar section, spread to the roof, destroying the southern part of the walls and collapsing the ceilings. Little remains of the interior, covered with white lime plaster. On one section of the northern wall, a fragment of frescoes with a large human-sized cross and a painted ornamental column has survived. The church also had spacious undercroft rooms. Currently, the remnants of the church are rapidly deteriorating, and the wood is mostly affected by decay.
