The village of Korshunovka is first mentioned in the documents of the revision tale of 1781, which states that it was founded by one-dweller families. In 1897, with the funds from local residents and benefactors, a stone church dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker was built in Korshunovka. However, during the Soviet period, the church was closed and has not survived to this day.

In 1993, a new stone church in honor of St. Nicholas was erected in the village. This is a small single-domed church with simple architecture, including an altar apse, a narthex, and a three-tiered bell tower with an onion-shaped top. Its construction was also financed by parishioners and benefactors. Currently, the Nicholas Church is operational and serves as the spiritual center of the village. The area around the church is fenced with a metal fence and is well-maintained.
