The first church in Blagodarovka was built in 1857 with funds from the parishioners. In 1903, it burned down as a result of a fire. Already in 1904, the residents built a new church. In 1867, a church parish school began operating at the church. In 1930, the church was closed, and its further fate remains unknown.

In 2002, construction of a new temple began on the site of the former priest's house.
