In the village of Terenevo, there is a stone church dedicated to Archangel Michael, with an altar in honor of Saint John the Baptist. It was built in 1768 through the efforts of Princess Natalia Mikhailovna Hilkova and local parishioners. The church is well-equipped with utensils, vestments, holy icons, and liturgical books.
Church documents have been preserved in full order: there are copies of metric books from 1800 and confession lists from 1820. An inventory of church property was compiled in 1822. The church has a land plot: the estate land occupies 60 square fathoms in length and 10 in width, while the hay and arable land amounts to 33 desyatinas. The land is accounted for in the general plan with the peasants. The income from the land and church duties amounts to up to 300 rubles in silver per year. The village of Terenevo has 72 households and a population of 187 men and 187 women.
