The Old Believer temple of the holy righteous princess-monk Anna Kashinskaya was built in 1909 according to the design of architect I.E. Bondarenko with funds from Arseniy Ivanovich Morozov. It became the first church in Russia dedicated to this saint and was constructed near the village of Kuznetsy in the Bogorodsky district. The land for the construction was donated by the peasants of the village of Kuznetsy, and the church was erected in record time, just three months. In honor of the completion of the construction, a celebration took place on November 15, 1909, which gathered a multitude of people. The procession and the raising of the bells became a rare sight. The Old Believer press described this event as a significant spiritual victory for the Russian Old Believer Church. On major holidays, up to a thousand believers gathered in the church, and the famous Old Believer Morozov choir sang. Special pride was evoked by the carved iconostasis made of dark stained wood and the frescoes executed in the style of the masters of Ancient Russia.

After the revolution, the church was one of the first to be closed in the Pavlovsky Posad district and was used as a club and for various economic needs until the 1990s. Currently, the shrine is under the management of the Pavlovsky Posad Old Believer Church community in the name of the Nativity of the Mother of God. The building and the site were donated by owner Vladimir Viktorovich Kovshutin. The restoration of the church is being carried out thanks to the material and technical support of an entrepreneur and, mainly, the efforts of the parishioners themselves. The first service after the restoration took place on June 25, 2001, on the day of the memory of Saint Anna Kashinskaya.

On June 25, 2007, the head of the Russian Orthodox Old Believer Church, Metropolitan of Moscow and All Russia Korniliy, arrived for the solemn service and the official transfer of the building to the believers, along with guests from Moscow's Old Believer parishes.
