A significant event took place in Perevozhinka: the Orthodox Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God shone with new domes. This church, being the spiritual center and soul of the village, despite its simplicity, managed to withstand difficult times. Built, according to legend, in 1858, it became the site of the church parish school in 1892, where 69 boys and 41 girls studied, and it also housed a library. During the Soviet years, the church lost its domes, but like a fortress, it did not surrender, waiting for the return of people under its protection. Grain was stored within its wooden walls, but this also ceased with the collapse of the local collective farm.

The history of the village church is typical for our country, but its revival is remarkable. Last year, a resident of Buzuluk and a native of Perevozhinka, Viktor Litvinov, proposed to the head of the Novoalexandrovsky village council, Ivan Ob'yedkov, to reconstruct the church. Viktor Ivanovich took on most of the expenses, while the district head, Vladimir Sadov, helped with building materials. Local residents also contributed, some with deeds, some with words, and some financially. Thanks to a substantial amount of donations, the church was restored by the community. The restoration was carried out by Buzuluk resident Nikolai Ivanov and the chairman of the parish council, Sergey Panin, along with his deputy Nikanor Ob'yedkov. In half of the church's premises, floors, ceilings, the altar, windows, and doors were restored, and icons and church utensils were installed. Services have been held here for a year.

A bell tower was built on the church, and this week the domes were installed after their consecration. Under the prayers of the parishioners, the dome with the cross was lifted onto the bell tower, as if returning the church its grandeur. The altar and narthex were also crowned with domes. The church, which had long stood without domes, came to life and acquired a majestic appearance, instilling hope for the revival of life in the village. On Easter, the villagers will rejoice not only in the holiday but also in the renewed church. Work on the revival of the church continues.
