The village of Undol, located in Lakin, is 30 versts from Vladimir, near the railway station, on the banks of the Undolka River. The patriarchal books of 1628 mention the Undol Church: "the church of the Resurrection of the Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ in the village of Undol in the estate of the boyar Fyodor Vasilyevich Golovin, tribute 11 altyn." In 1693, at the initiative of landowner P.V. Golovin, another church was built in Undol in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, but only the Resurrection Church is mentioned in the patriarchal books of 1746.

Today, the church in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God operates in Undol, while the Resurrection Church was destroyed, but the exact date is unknown. The image of the Resurrection of the Lord is kept in the Kazan Church. In 1859, with the church's funds, a warm refectory with altars in honor of St. Sergius of Radonezh and St. Nicholas was added, as well as a bell tower. In 1870, the church and bell tower were surrounded by a stone fence.

Among the holy icons, the ancient icons of the Resurrection of the Lord and the Kazan Mother of God stand out. Copies of the metric books since 1791 and confession rolls since 1829 have been preserved intact. An inventory of church property compiled in 1851 is also kept in the church. On the church grounds, there is a stone watchman's lodge and a chapel. The church land comprises 35 desyatins and 262 square sazhen, and there is a plan for it. The clergy staff includes two priests, a deacon, and two psalmists. The annual income of the clergy amounts to up to 1640 rubles, obtained from land, securities, bread collection, and service fees. The parish includes the village and villages: Khrenova, Lapina, Petrushina, Alexeyevka, Tyurikov, Aleksandrovka, and the hamlet of Bykovo, located no more than 9 versts from the church. The parish has 326 households, 1164 men, and 1301 women. The village also has a zemstvo school located in a separate building.
