The Church of the Kazan Mother of God was built in 1802 thanks to the efforts of the parishioners. It is a stone and sturdy building. The church has three altars: the main one in the cold part is dedicated to the Kazan Mother of God, in the warm chapel on the right, to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, and on the left, to the holy unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian.

According to the scribal books, the village of Ivankovo was founded by Ivan Petrovich Shuisky no earlier than 1581. In 1617, there was a wooden church in the village of Ivankovo in honor of the holy unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian, with altars in honor of Saint Leontius of Rostov the Wonderworker and Saint Nicholas. In the village of Oreshkovo, a wooden chapel was built in the 1860s.

The church has 36 desyatins and 915 sazhen of homestead, arable, and haymaking land. There are two church houses: one for the priest's residence and the other for the teacher and caretaker. There is also a building for the church parish school and an untouchable church capital of 610 rubles in securities. The parish has 727 men and 846 women. The village of Ivankovo is located on a hill. There is a church parish school in the village, and in the village of Belousovo, a literacy school. The parish has established parish guardianship. The staff includes positions for a priest and a psalmist, with a parish capital of 200 rubles in securities.
