The village of Denyatino, surrounded by ponds and wells, is located 20 versts from the district town. In the land books of 1628-1630, it is mentioned as divided into plots owned by various landowners. At that time, there was a wooden church of Archangel Michael built by the landowners. A priest and a prosphora baker served at the church. According to the revenue books of the Ryazan diocese for 1676, the same church still stood in the village, with the houses of priests Fyodor and Dmitry, a deacon's house, a monastery house, and 21 houses of parish peasants.
The wooden church of Archangel Michael existed in Denyatino until 1843, when a stone temple was erected. The new church has three altars: the main one in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, and in the refectory, in the name of Archangel Michael and St. Sergius of Radonezh. The church is well supplied with utensils, vestments, and holy icons. Special attention is drawn to the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God and the Uncreated Image of the Savior due to their antiquity and decorations.
In addition to the stone church, there is an old wooden church in Denyatino, the time of its construction is unknown. In 1866, it was renovated, and the altar was consecrated in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God instead of the Kazan one. The iconostasis and icons in it are ancient.
According to the staff, there is a priest, a deacon, and a psalmist at the church. The clergy members have their own houses on church land. The land by the church includes: 1 desyatina of homestead land, 30 desyatinas of arable land, of which 6 desyatinas and 2128 sazhen of unusable land, and 3 desyatinas of haymaking land. There is no special plan or land survey book for the land. The parish includes the village of Denyatino and the villages of Levina, Ozkorkova, Boytseva, Kondakova, Aleksandrina, Markova, Boronina, Kuchina, and Belkova, where the clerical records list 1175 men and 1311 women.
