The Church of the Icon of the Mother of God 'Burning Bush' is located in the center of the Southern Wing of Yuriev Monastery, where sick and elderly monks once lived. Throughout its long history, the monastery has suffered from fires multiple times. This is why the church was built in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God 'Burning Bush', which is revered as a protector from fire. The church was laid on September 4, 1828, and consecrated on August 20, 1831. Its length, width, and height to the dome are all 10 meters.

In the early 1990s, the church was renovated, and services resumed. It is now the main place for reading the brotherly rule and venerating the image of the Most Holy Theotokos. Access to the church is only through the corridor of the Southern Wing, passing by the cells. Currently, the church is used for services only on festive days and for prayers of the residents.
