The church was built in 1805-1806 with funds from Lieutenant Alexei Ivanovich Dedyulin by serf craftsmen Fyodor Rebrikov and Pyotr Ivanov. This stone building features a single dome and a tiered bell tower, which has not survived. The interior of the temple was decorated with funds from Colonel Yakov Ivanovich Dedyulin, who led the Yaroslavl militia in 1812.

The church had two altars: in honor of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos and Saint Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia, the Miracle Worker. The Vladimir icon of the Mother of God and the altar cross with relics of saints were especially venerated.

In 1930, during the Soviet regime, the upper part of the bell tower and the dome over the summer church were destroyed. A dairy factory was placed in the church building. Before the start of the Great Patriotic War, repairs began to convert it into a club, but they did not manage to complete it. During the war, the floors of the church were dismantled to build military dugouts. In 1952, the repairs for the club continued: the vaulted roof was replaced with a gable roof, part of the altar was dismantled and continued in the form of a rectangle, doorways were made on the southern side of all rooms, and the arched windows in the zakomara were converted to rectangular ones. Since then, the building housed a club until the collapse of the Soviet Union.

In 2009, thanks to the efforts of summer resident Lyudmila Mikhailovna Serebryakova from Yaroslavl, the roof of the winter chapel was covered with iron. Gradually, services began to be held in the church independently, and repairs were undertaken.
