The village of Danilovskoye no longer exists. On a hill in the field stands the Church of the Annunciation, from where a magnificent view of the city of Yuryev-Polsky opens up. Danilovskoye was located six kilometers from the city, previously situated by a pond. The village was the estate of the Yuriev Archangel Male Monastery and belonged to it since the 16th century, as confirmed by charters from Ivan the Terrible and Feodor Ioannovich. After their loss, the charter was issued by Tsar Mikhail Fyodorovich in 1625. The monastery owned the village until 1764.

In the 17th century, there was a church in the village in honor of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In the tax records of the patriarchal order from 1654, it is listed as "arrived," and according to the letter and inspection by Leontiy Molvyaninov, a tribute was established for it in the amount of "twenty-three altyns and ten grivnas." The church was wooden.

In 1764, thanks to the efforts of Moscow merchant Zinoviy Ivanov Korkotin and parishioners, the current stone church was laid, completed and consecrated in 1772. It has two altars: in the cold part in honor of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and in the warm chapel in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. The bell tower and fence are also made of stone.

Among the ancient church utensils, a notable item was the altar silver-gilded cross from 1773 with relics of saints. Two Gospels were of particular value: one published in 1697, the other in 1771. There was also a book with the inscription: "From the creation of the world in the year 7201, March 6, this book of the Triodion for September, October, and November of the priest Dmitry Fyodorov from Danilovskoye. Bought in Moscow, gave one ruble twenty-five altyns of his own money to the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary for the commemoration of his parents: priest Fyodor, Yevdokiya, and all relatives. Inscribed with his own hand to be forever inseparable at the Annunciation. For health and salvation, pray to God for priest Dmitry, monk Martha, priest Ioann, and all relatives." There were also the Octoechos with the inscription: "The book called Octoechos, tone 1, from the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Danilovskoye was purchased with church funds in Moscow at the printing house on January 20, 1754," Octoechos, tone 5, of the same year with the same inscription, the Sunday Gospel teacher from 1687, the Prayer Book from 1689, the Menaion for December 1691, the Apostle from 1751, the Prologue from 1751 with the inscription: "Of the Yuryev district, Polish estate of the Archangel Monastery, which is in Yuryev-Polsky in the Kremlin of the city of the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Danilovskoye," the Church Statute from 1752, and the Lenten Triodion from 1753.

The church had 2 dessiatinas of homestead land and 33 dessiatinas of haymaking and arable land.
