The village of Andreevsky is located 37 versts from Vladimir, on the banks of the Yakhromka River. The patriarchal books of 1644 mention the church of Archangel Michael in this village. In 1726, the old wooden church was dismantled, and a new wooden one was built in its place, which stood until 1772. There was also a church in Andreevsky in honor of Saint Apostle Andrew the First-Called. In 1710, according to the patriarchal books, this church was rebuilt and consecrated, replacing the previous wooden structure.

In 1772, thanks to the efforts of the parishioners, a stone church of Archangel Michael with a stone bell tower was erected. From 1811 to 1813, the church was expanded, and a warm chapel in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker appeared on the southern side. In 1888, in this warm temple, also thanks to the efforts of the parishioners, a chapel was arranged in honor of Saint Sergius of Radonezh the Wonderworker.
