The Chapel of the Kazan Mother of God is located in the center of the village of Pyalozero and is a key element in the free development of the settlement.

This structure belongs to the two-part, equally wide and high chapels. The main part of the building includes a prayer room and a narthex, covered by a common gable roof topped with a cross above the prayer room.

Structurally, the chapel is a log cabin with four walls, built on a common log foundation, to which a narthex with frame-clad walls and an open gallery-porch with a western entrance are attached. Above the upper platform and single-flight staircase, there are two independent gable roofs.

The walls of the main room are hewn "in rectangular paw" and are smoothed and covered with horizontal thin planks "butt-jointed" with forged nails, while the exterior is clad with hewn boards on forged nails, featuring a decorative base and a rectangular cornice.

The walls of the narthex have a mixed construction: partially hewn to a height of six logs from the floor, partially frame-clad. The roof is made using the samtsovo-slegovaya technology, with slegs inserted through 1-3 logs; the roofing, originally "according to chickens and streams," is now nailed from two layers of road timber.

The doors in the main room and narthex are three-post, with the posts joined "in quarter" and with a straight log threshold.

The floor is single-layer, made of planks with the bark side down, laid perpendicular to the entrance. The ceiling in the main room was originally horizontal, made of planks or logs parallel to the entrance, later replaced with an octagonal "sky" with triangular sails, filled with thin planks "butt-jointed."

The ceiling in the narthex is made of profiled planks "staggered," parallel to the entrance.

Decorative embellishments have been preserved: carved columns of the porch, a frieze with "city" carving, two-part three-tiered carved gables with towels and weather vanes, adorned with through carving in the form of six-petaled rosettes on all pediments.

The Chapel of the Kazan Mother of God in the village of Pyalozero, built in the second half of the 19th century, represents historical and architectural value due to the preservation of its overall volumetric-planning solution and decorative embellishments, as well as its important role in the composition of the settlement's development.
