The Volgograd Museum "Stalingrad Bunker" is dedicated to the events of the Battle of Stalingrad and is located in the House of Culture of the Voroshilov District. The bomb shelter is situated in the basement of this building.

The museum was opened in 2014 in the building of the Metroelectrotrans House of Culture. Previously, there was a "House of Sobriety" built in 1938, which housed the bomb shelter in its basement. During the Battle of Stalingrad, the building was destroyed, but the bunker remained intact. After the war, the House of Culture of the Stalingrad Tram Depot was built here.

The "Stalingrad Bunker" museum was created to recreate an objective picture of those times. To enhance the experience, sounds of sirens, gunfire, and bombings are used, helping visitors immerse themselves in the atmosphere of war.

The museum's exhibits include machine guns, rifles, greatcoats, and battle maps. Visitors can touch the exhibits and take photos with them. Guests can also manually pump air into the room using a hand-operated air purification system and descend into an underground passage leading to a safe zone. Museum staff talk about the products of Stalingrad factories for the city's defense and the working conditions of rear workers.

The museum's creators claim that the bunker can still be used in emergencies today. In the bomb shelter, one can survive for a year with food supplies, as it has all the necessary amenities, including a bathroom with a shower and a ventilation system. However, the water supply is only 2 cubic meters, allowing a maximum of 20 people to stay there for no more than three days.
