The village is located between two lakes. The construction of the church in the village of Baydarskoye was initiated by the residents of the villages of Baydarskaya, Vtoro-Baydarskaya (later the village of Baydarskoye), Novo-Baydarskaya, which belonged to the parish of the church in the village of Spornovskoye, as well as the village of Marayskaya, which was part of the parish of the church in the village of Polovinskoye. The reason for the construction of a new church was the remoteness of the parish churches and the difficulties in communication with them during the spring period. In 1889, the Tobolsk Spiritual Consistory issued a decree for the church's construction. The church was built with the funds of parishioners and voluntary donations. In 1894, the contractor, peasant Ivan Kosygin, completed the construction of the wooden building. The following year, the Yekaterinburg merchant Vasily Lazarev installed the iconostasis. On November 4, 1897, the church was consecrated by the archpriest of the Kurgan district churches, Priest Ioann Redkin.

The parish was opened in 1899. The church has one altar in the name of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The icon of Saint Martyr Paraskeva is especially venerated among the parishioners. This icon was painted at the request of the parishioners in Moscow in 1905 and was delivered to the village by a procession from the Vargashi station of the Siberian railway in August of the same year. On the day of the ninth Friday, almost all parishioners come to the church, bringing donations of money, canvas, wool, flax, and other items. On this day, a procession is held in the village, and prayers are served in the square around the church. There are no subsidiary churches or chapels in the parish.

As of 1913, the parish of the Intercession Church of the village of Baydarskoye included the villages: Baydarskaya, Novo-Baydarskaya (Zavodskaya), Marayskaya, Dimitrievskaya, Zalojinskaya, and Sumska.
