The monastery was founded on February 17, 1988, in the village of Travers, located 80 km south of Clermont-Ferrand and 500 km from Paris, with the blessing of the Exarch of the Moscow Patriarchate in Western Europe, Metropolitan Vladimir (Sabodan).
With the support of the abbot Varsanofiy (Ferrier), the monastery built a new stone church. It was consecrated on August 10, 1996, by Bishop Guriy of Korsun (Shalimov) and dedicated to All Saints. The iconostasis for the church was created by monk Grigory (Krug).
The monastery houses a unique icon painted by artist S. A. Raevskaya-Otsup under the guidance of Sister Ioanna (Reitlinger). It is inspired by the lost embroidery of nun Maria (Skobtsova) and depicts the Mother of God embracing the Infant Christ, already crucified on the cross.
The monastic community is led by nun Anastasia.
