Lebjazhiy Lane in Moscow is a place with a rich history. In the 18th century, there was a swan yard here, where birds were bred for the royal table, as well as the Lebjazhiy Pond on the Neglinnaya River.

The residential building of the city estate was constructed in the late 18th century. During the fire of 1812, the building was damaged, but it was restored. The structure that has survived to this day was formed in the second half of the 19th century. The main facade of building 4 faces the line of Lebjazhiy Lane, while building 3 is located deeper within the plot. Currently, employees of the museum-reserve "Moscow Kremlin" work in this 18th-19th century house.

In 2018, interior renovations were carried out in the building. Cracks in the walls were repaired and their coverings updated, floors were sanded and varnished. Specialists replaced wooden window frames, repaired and painted window sashes, and updated the glazing. Additionally, windowsills and the coverings of steps and landings were repaired. The renovation did not affect the structural integrity and appearance of the interiors, but allowed the building to be maintained in good condition, which is important for cultural heritage sites.
