Over the past century, Rostov-on-Don has lost many architectural monuments, and little is often known about the surviving pre-revolutionary buildings. This is also the case with the residential house of local resident Satarova. It survived two wars and a period when the Soviet authorities neglected old buildings, but today we only know the name of its first owner. Nevertheless, the two-story mansion deserves attention as an architectural monument of old Rostov-on-Don. It is included in the list of cultural heritage sites of regional significance and is under state protection.
