Фото 1
Description

The ensemble of two residential buildings with shops, recognized as a cultural heritage site, is located in the historical center of Moscow. The structures belong to the era of early classicism and play an important role in shaping the historical appearance of Pyatnitskaya Street. In 1880, the buildings acquired their modern look due to the unification of the facades into a single design. The central part of the house is adorned with a decorative wall above the main cornice and stucco decor. The rounded corner at the intersection of Pyatnitskaya Street and Kadashiovskaya Embankment is complemented by a dormer window and stucco medallions. The restoration of the building will be based on archival data about the structures on Pyatnitskaya Street that existed in 1887.

Restoration

The restoration work will be divided into several stages. They include the restoration of the facades and roof, cleaning of the attic spaces, and surface treatment. During the roof repair, it will be necessary to restore the rafter system, carry out antiseptic treatment of all wooden elements, install drainage and anti-icing systems, and also tidy up the chimney stacks. Additionally, the restoration plans include the restoration of window and door openings and the installation of architectural lighting.
