In Penza, restoration of the building at 21 Tambovskaya Street is planned, which is a cultural heritage site of regional significance. The Regional Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments has commissioned the development of a project for the preservation of this site. The document provides for the restoration and adaptation of the historic building for modern use.

As reported by the department's press service on August 3, the building has been acquired by an investor who intends to restore it. Now, it is necessary to obtain the cost-estimate project documentation.

The official name of the site is "Residential House" from the 19th century. This is a brick, one-story building with a semi-basement, rectangular in plan, with its main facade facing north onto Tambovskaya Street.

The architecture of the building successfully combines elements of Russian architecture and classicism. Since 2011, the building has not been used, and two years ago it was recognized as being in unsatisfactory condition, which led to access being prohibited.
