Merchant Sokolov's Residential House

Фото 1
In the center of Azov, on Leningrad Street, there stands a one-story house of pre-revolutionary construction, formerly owned by the Sokolov merchants. The building, erected in 1910, remained privately owned until the arrival of Soviet power, when it was confiscated from its owners. Since 1956, this house has housed the Young Technicians Station, which is the oldest in Azov and continues to welcome children and their parents. Currently, the house is protected by the state as an architectural monument of regional significance, but its condition leaves much to be desired.
