One of the rare examples of pre-revolutionary two-story architecture in Rostov-on-Don is the residential house of merchant M.M. Zamfirov, built in the 1900s. This house is located in the very center of the city, on Bolshaya Sadovaya Street. Zamfirov lived here with his family until the arrival of Soviet power, after which the building was confiscated, and the further fate of the entrepreneur remains unknown. Today, the house is in less than ideal condition, but its existence is not under threat. A few years ago, it was included in the list of cultural heritage sites of regional significance.
