Фото 1
The stone two-story building was erected no later than 1804 as the main house of the estate. By 1822, a mezzanine was added to it. In 1844, a two-story building was constructed on the western side of the plot according to the design of architect V. A. Balashov. The first floor of the new structure was used for shops, while the second was for housing. In 1853, large display windows appeared on the first floor. Since then, the exterior of the building has changed little, its composition and finishing remained concise. It stood on a high plinth, and the facade of the corner part had 11 rectangular windows on two floors. In the western part, there were seven windows on both floors before the changes. The tops of the facades were adorned with a plaster profile trim, while the old part featured a white stone profile. Both buildings were connected by a unified inter-floor belt.

In 1892, under the guidance of architect V. N. Korneev, the door opening and two windows on the facade facing Pryamikov Street were enlarged, and one window was converted into another door. Later, several windows were also converted into doors. After 1917, the building was nationalized, and the second floor was allocated for communal apartments. In 2006, restoration began. Based on preserved traces, the brick mezzanine with an arched window was restored, accentuating the risalit, the white stone sandriks above the windows of the second floor risalit were restored, and the inter-floor plaster cornice was preserved. It was also possible to restore two rows of the white stone frieze from the 18th century and to recreate the crowning cornice with a profile based on an existing analogue.
