The two-story brick building of rectangular shape with risalits is located on the territory of military unit No. 13826. Its facade, facing the unit's territory, has a symmetrical horizontal composition complemented by two flanking risalits. The central entrance, located on the facade, stands out due to its height, emphasizing the strict symmetry of the building. The first floor is separated from the second by a cornice with dry bricks, which corresponds to the facade's plasticity. The risalits are adorned with flat pilasters with hanging strips, replacing capitals. The main entrance is decorated with a portal featuring a three-tiered finish, pilasters, and a cornice with a dry brick belt. The entrances on the end facades are similarly designed. The building is topped with a stepped brick cornice with dry bricks, supported by a bracket belt. All window openings are rectangular, with an arch finish and a lintel.

The facade facing the street has a clear metric scheme, divided horizontally by an inter-floor cornice and finished with a massive cornice with parapet columns resembling the teeth of a fortress. This emphasizes the building's purpose. Initially, the walls were red brick, but now they are painted in two colors, with the decor highlighted in white.

The history of this place dates back to 1886, when a complex of buildings for a cavalry regiment was constructed in Syzran. The complex included a headquarters building, administrative structures, barracks, warehouses, and stables, which had no electricity and were heated with firewood. The building in question housed a hussar regiment. Since Soviet times and to this day, it has housed a military unit. The former headquarters of the hussar regiment now serves as the headquarters of the modern unit, while the other buildings are used as warehouses, utility and living spaces, as well as barracks for military personnel.
