The Galchenko dairy factory building is located in Kollontayevsky Lane and is the oldest in the city. Built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the enterprise successfully operated during the Russian Empire and for a long time afterward.
Unfortunately, today the building is abandoned and looks dismal without a roof and windows. To prevent its complete destruction, the state has recently placed it under protection as a cultural heritage site of regional significance.
