On February 28, 2015, Bishop Benjamin of Rybinsk and Uglich conducted the consecration of the cross for the dome of the building church in honor of the Entrance of the Theotokos in the village of Spas, Rybinsk district. The service was also attended by the rector of the church, Priest Sergey Metlin, and Deacon Nikita Vedernikov. At the end of the service, a prayer was offered for the benefactors of the church and all its parishioners. After the consecration, all present were able to venerate the cross. The bishop gifted everyone icons of the Mother of God from the Holy Land as a sign of prayerful remembrance. Then the cross was raised and installed on the dome of the church.
