Фото 1
The Tula Military Historical Museum is one of the youngest museums in both the city of Tula and the entire Tula region. It opened on May 20, 2017, welcoming the residents of Tula and guests of the city. The new exhibition titled "Land of Heroes" is located in the Tula Kremlin, in the very heart of the ancient city. Here, visitors begin their acquaintance with the heroic past of the Tula region, where heroes, brave warriors, and skilled craftsmen have always lived.

Museum visitors embark on an exciting journey through history, starting in 1380 at the first field of military glory and concluding at the wall of the Reichstag, where on May 9, 1945, our compatriots left their signatures. Among the unique exhibits of the museum, one can see a field officer's box, medals and medallions from 1812, letters, weapons, and personal belongings of participants in World War I, soldiers' triangular letters, death notices, awards, toys, and magazines that tell the story of life and struggle in Tula during the Great Patriotic War. All these items were donated to the museum by the residents of Tula for permanent storage as part of the "People's Museum" initiative, which began in 2014 and continues to this day.
