The Assumption Well was created in 1644 at the southwest corner of the Assumption Cathedral, where a source of healing water was discovered. The chapel over this source was built in the late 17th century. In 1872, a pool for the blessing of water was erected in the cathedral square, between the Over-Well Chapel and the obelisk. Above the pool rises an elegant tent with a dome and a cross. In the center of the pool, a cross is installed, from which healing water flows into the pool from the horizontal beam, coming from the Assumption Well.
