Villa Mon Repos in Corfu, Greece, served as a residence for Empress of Austria Elisabeth and members of the family of King of the Hellenes George I and his wife Queen Olga Konstantinovna, as well as other notable figures. Within these walls were born Grand Duchess Alexandra Georgievna, wife of Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich, Prince George of Greece and Denmark, Count of Corfu, Princess Alexia of Greece and Denmark, daughter of King of the Hellenes Constantine, and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
