The Uspensky Holy Georgievsky Men's Monastery, known as "Holy Bushes", is located in a picturesque mountainous area, about a hundred kilometers north of Ufa. From the top of the hill, there is a fairy-tale view that complements the temple of Saint Great Martyr George the Victorious, built in the form of a terema. By the blessing of Archbishop Nikon of Ufa and Sterlitamak, a skete was organized, and the first services were held in a trailer. Several wooden houses were built for the brotherhood, and a stone fence with towers is being erected. A chapel in honor of the Venerable Seraphim of Sarov has been restored over the holy spring, on the foundation of an old chapel found during excavations.

In 1901, a women's monastic community was founded, with construction continuing until the 1920s. The main shrine of the monastery was the Holy Bushes, a place where, according to legend, a holy elder appeared in golden robes, the sound of unearthly bells was heard, an icon of the Mother of God appeared, and the life-giving cross was located. The founder and first benefactor of the monastery was G.A. Pospelov, and the first abbess was Serafima Knyazeva. In 1901, a house church was built in honor of Saint Prince George Vsevolodovich. In 1911, a small wooden Ascension church was erected, which briefly became the main one in the monastery. Emperor Nicholas II gifted the monastery 38 desyatins of land, and Saint John of Kronstadt made a significant donation.

In February 1902, the Holy Synod approved the creation of the women's Georgievskaya community, which received 70 desyatins of land donated by Georgy Pospelov. In 1905, the community was transformed into a monastery, and the construction of the brick Uspensky Cathedral began, which was to become the main church. However, the cathedral was not completed and was destroyed in the 1930s, along with other buildings of the monastery. In 1928, the monastery was closed, and its buildings were used for economic purposes, gradually falling into disrepair.

The revival of the monastery began in 1997-1999 with the blessing of Bishop Nikon. The first wooden buildings and a new church in honor of Saint Prince George of Vladimir were constructed. In 2001-2002, the foundations of the small Ascension church and the large Uspensky Cathedral were cleared. In 2002, Archbishop Nikon achieved the renewal of the monastery as a men's monastery. A wooden seven-domed Georgievskaya church and a brick chapel were built on the site of the Holy Bushes. New cells, a farmyard were erected, and the construction of a stone fence was started. In 2003, the foundation of the Uspensky Cathedral was strengthened, and in the summer of 2004, the walls were raised to 7-9 meters. It is planned that the bell tower, over 60 meters high, will be visible from neighboring villages. The Ascension of the Lord celebrations are held solemnly, attracting hundreds of pilgrims. Among the relics of the monastery are the ark with the relics of Prince George of Vladimir and other relics.
