Uspensky Church, an Orthodox chapel, is located in the second district of Turku, Finland, near the Consulate General of the Russian Federation. Access to the church is from the direction of the crafts museum.

The Russian Orthodox parish in Turku was founded on August 28, 2001, thanks to the initiative of the Consul General of Russia in Turku, V. V. Rozanov, and the support of Metropolitan Cyril of Smolensk and Kaliningrad, who headed the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate.

The parish became part of the Patriarchal parishes in Finland, and its rector was appointed Hieromonk Nikita (Dobronravov) by the decision of the Holy Synod.

On October 16, 2002, the church was consecrated by Bishop Seraphim of the Baltic (Melkonyan) with the co-serving of the representative of the Moscow Patriarchate in Finland, Archpriest Viktor Lyutik, the rector of the parish Hieromonk Nikita (Dobronravov), and the dean of the Norwegian parishes, Hieromonk Clement (Huhhtamäki). The service was attended by the Consul General of Russia, V. V. Rozanov, with his wife, the Vice Mayor of Turku, Kaija Hartila, the Chairman of the City Council, Kaarina Hannu Huurne, and a delegation from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland led by the General Secretary of the Archdiocese, Mr. Kallela.
