The Vremeva estate in Golofeevka dates back to the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Today, only the main house remains, which now houses a rural secondary school.

This one-story stone mansion once belonged to the landowner and collegiate advisor Timofey Mironovich Vremev. His wife, Natalia Alexeyevna Martynova, was the sister of the very cousin who became the rival of Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov in the duel where the great Russian poet perished. Vremev left his mark in history due to three events. First, he built the Trinity Church in his village. Second, a school was opened in his house, which is still attended by children from Golofeevka. Third, his death is associated with the name of the composer Alyabyev, the author of the famous romance "The Nightingale," which has been performed by opera singers for almost a century and a half. Both Alyabyev and Vremev were fond of card games. One day, the composer accused the landowner of cheating, which led to a quarrel and a fight, after which Vremev died, and Alyabyev spent three years in prison.

After Vremev's death, his widow found herself in debt and was forced to sell the property. According to rumors, the buyer was their servant with the surname Gaman. Shortly before Vremev's death, he received a large sum from his wife to pay off her husband's gambling debts, but instead, he embezzled the money. When the estate was put up for sale, he purchased it through intermediaries.
