The Redkino estate, located in the village of the same name in the Volosovsky district, is an example of an ancient pre-revolutionary estate. In the 18th century, the village of Redkino was part of the Swedish border fortifications, but later Peter I reclaimed this territory and handed the estate over to brothers Peter and Ivan Kikins. At that time, their brother Alexander headed the St. Petersburg Admiralty.

A large palace, the Trinity Church with a family cemetery, and various outbuildings were constructed on the estate's grounds. Among the local residents, there were rumors about the existence of a women's monastery at the estate. After the owners' deaths, the estate changed hands but retained its splendor until it was looted in 1917.

During the Soviet era, after the estate was confiscated from private ownership, the main house was converted into a seven-year boarding school, and over time, the estate fell into disrepair. The Trinity Church was closed and suffered significant destruction. In recent times, a gradual revival of the community has begun, and plans are in place to restore the damaged church building.
