The main house of the estate, built in 1881 according to the design of architect E. S. Milyanovsky, became the place where the childhood and youth of the famous director V. E. Meyerhold took place, who bore the surname Meyerhold from his father. After the restoration, completed in 1984, the V. E. Meyerhold Museum of Theatrical Arts was opened in this building.
