In the second half of the 18th century, the village of Peredel was part of the Medyn district of the Kaluga province and belonged to Ivan the Great Perfilyevich Mosolov, son of the famous Tula gunsmith and industrialist Perfily Grigorievich Mosolov. The village had 8 peasant households, 248 residents, 6 desyatins of land under the estate, 80 desyatins of arable land, 315 desyatins of forest, as well as 31 desyatins and 2367 square fathoms of unusable land.

The description of that time mentions that the village was located on both sides of the Luga River and the Lipovka stream, near a pond. The village had a stone church of the Prophet Elijah, a manor house, paper and sailcloth factories, as well as a water mill for flour by the pond. Downstream of the Luga, there was land with flour and sawmills owned by the brother of the village owner, Ivan the Lesser Perfilyevich Mosolov. In 1738, the Mosolovs established the Arkhangelsk hammer factory on the Luga River for the conversion of cast iron into wrought iron.

In the mid-19th century, the village of Peredel belonged to titular adviser A.I. Batashov, and in the second half of the century until 1904, to Medyn merchant I.A. Lashchagin, then to M.D. Muzalevskaya.

To this day, the two-story main house and the one-story service wing have been preserved, both built in the third quarter of the 19th century in the classicism style. The regular linden park of the 18th century and a later landscape park with linden and spruce trees, earthen mounds, ponds, and a canal between them have also survived. Part of the estate's fence and the ruined two-story building of the factory office from the first quarter of the 19th century have been preserved. Nearby stands a one-story factory building from the late 19th century, built after the re-profiling of the canvas production to matchstick production.

In the neighboring village of Ilyinka, which has practically merged with Peredel, there are the ruins of the Ilyinskaya church from 1765, rebuilt in the mid-19th century. Near the church, many old fallen gravestones have been preserved, including those of A.I. Batashov and I.A. Lashchagin.
